Pull bouys should be in every swimmers kits. they are a small foam item that is held between the legs to give bouyance to the lower body whilst using your upper body to do all the work. As soon as you kick with a pull bouy, it will release from your legs and defeat the purpose. Using only your arms, will allow you to gain upper body strength.
