Cressi Leonardo 3 Computer

The Leonardo dive computer, positioned at the bottom of one side of the console, features a large display with easy-to-read digits, making it ideal for divers with visual considerations. With its single-button control, the Leonardo provides intuitive navigation and delivers crucial information such as depth, dive times, temperatures, ascent rates, and safety stops. It is also nitrox compatible, accommodating gas mixtures ranging from 21% to 50%.

The durable case houses a high-definition screen with a convenient backlight, allowing for easy readability during night dives or in low-light conditions. Key features of the Leonardo dive computer include a deep stop function that alerts you when reaching a pre-set depth, a built-in calendar, RGBM algorithm, clock, and gauge mode. The user-replaceable battery can be changed without tools, but it is advisable to have a service technician perform a pressure test when replacing the battery.

The console also incorporates an SPG air gauge, which provides vital information on the remaining air pressure in your tank. The gauge features colour-coded areas for quick and easy monitoring of air consumption. The blue zone indicates a high air level (350 bar to 200 bar), green represents a medium level (200 bar to 100 bar), and red signifies a low level (100 bar to 50 bar). The luminescent orange zone indicates that the air is nearly depleted (below 50 bar). The console includes a rubber high-pressure hose measuring 75cm with a 7/16" threaded attachment.

The compass, positioned above the Leonardo dive computer, is made of scratch-resistant polycarbonate and features an easy-to-read face. Its slight angle ensures effortless reading when determining your bearings. The compass face is glow-in-the-dark, providing excellent visibility during night dives or in low-light situations. The compass bezel is divided into 10-degree sections and includes a side scan window.

To transfer your diving data to your PC or Mac, you will need to purchase the appropriate USB cable and download the corresponding software program. The Cressi Leonardo 3 Console offers additional features such as shock resistance, upgradeable firmware, fresh or saltwater measurements, and a user-replaceable battery with an approximate lifespan of two years based on an average of 50 dives per year. The battery type used is CR2430.
