Cressi Tropical 2 mm Gloves

The Cressi Tropical 2 mm Gloves are specifically designed for warm-water diving and provide a combination of comfort, flexibility, and exceptional touch sensitivity.

These five-fingered gloves are made from two different soft and lightweight materials. The palm and finger area utilise a light grey Napa material that becomes remarkably soft upon contact with water. This ensures a comfortable and gentle feel while allowing for excellent dexterity. The upper part of the glove, including the wrist area, is crafted from thin and supple neoprene. This material provides flexibility and freedom of movement, allowing for easy adjustments before and during the dive. The large area corresponding to the upper side of the wrist offers instant adaptability, ensuring a secure and customisable fit.

The Cressi Tropical gloves are particularly well-suited for situations where optimal touch sensitivity is crucial. Whether you're handling delicate marine life, adjusting equipment, or performing intricate tasks underwater, these gloves provide the utmost tactile feedback and control.

Care Instructions:

  • Rinse in freshwater after every use
  • Clean in cold water and wetsuit shampoo every so often
  • Dry in shady area, not in direct sunlight

Good fit for me - on most gloves the fingers are too short, leaving my fingers somewhat bent, and the glove can feel stiff and restrictive to straighten - but with these gloves, the XL is about right for me. Good comfort. Also reasonable protection in the palms and fingers from coral and fish spines when spearfishing. They're also reasonable protection from crayfish spines (although with a little force, the sharper spines will definitely make their way through). For my uses, I'll happily trade impervious protection for good dexterity and feel.

Not much thermal protection, so really only good in tropical water as their name suggests. All round, it's a great, comfortable glove with good dexterity and feel in warm water for light-to-medium scratch and puncture protection.
