Cressi Ultraspan Hood
The Cressi Ultraspan Hood is a specialised diving hood designed to provide an optimal fit, water tightness, and comfort for divers, particularly when used with one-piece wetsuits with a front zip.The hood features an oversized crew neck, allowing for better water tightness when inserted under the neck seal of a wetsuit. This design ensures a secure seal, preventing water from entering and enhancing thermal insulation during dives. With its anatomical cut, the Ultraspan Hood is tailored to fit comfortably over your shoulders, providing a snug and streamlined fit. The hood is constructed from high-stretch 5 mm Ultraspan neoprene, allowing for excellent flexibility and freedom of movement.
To enhance its water resistance, the hood is equipped with 3 mm smooth skin watertight seals around the face and neck. These seals create a reliable barrier against water ingress, helping to keep you warm and comfortable during dives. Furthermore, the Ultraspan Hood features an air and water vented release system on the top. This ventilation system allows for the release of excess air and water, ensuring proper equalisation and reducing buoyancy fluctuations.
