Tusa 3D Dry and Oceanic Viper Fin Pack Product Description

The Tusa Sport Imprex 3D Dry Mask and Snorkel Combo is a a set that is designed for maximum viewing. This unique mask has a 3 window design with the center lens being a single large lens and there are 2 smaller windows on either side which opens up your perhiperal vision more than any other snorkel mask. Another great feature of this mask if the purge valve that is inside the mask situated under your nose that is designed to be used to empty any water seaping in. The purge works as a one way valve, when you blow out through your nose, any water will be removed through the valve but will not let any water back in. This feature is an ideal one for anyone with facial hair and hair can cause leaking on a mask. The Imprex 3D mask is made with 100% silicone so it lasts many year with good care along with the strap also being silicone. The frame is a strong and durable plastic as are the easy to adjust side buckles that allow you get the perfect strap fit every time. Make sure that the set is cleaned after every use with fresh water for many years of use. When snorkeling it is so incredibly important that the mask is good quality otherwise after an hour in the water with a cheap mask on, it will be uncomfortable and hurt. The Tuse Imprex 3D dry mask is a larger fitting mask suited for adults with a slightly wider face.

The Imprex snorkel is a top quality one with a dry top which is the feature that sells this particular snorkel. A dry top is a valve that closes when ever water hits it so when you are duck diving under the water, the valve will close so when you re-surface there will be no water in the snorkel to blow out. It's a natural habit to blow out when you re-surface, however there will be minimal to no water in the snorkel. It has a purge valve on the bottom for the air to be removed from and the mouthpiece is made from 100% silicone which makes it extremely comfortable to have in your mouth for hours at a time, just make sure you don't bite through it. There is a easy to use snorkel keeper that slides up and down to give you the best possible fit when connected to your mask.

How to look after your mask:  All of our masks here at Dive Warehouse are made from 100% silicone with tempered glass. When a mask is made, it gets a thin layer of silicone on the inside of the glass. This is what causes it to fog. Anti-fog's will not work until it has been pre-cleaned, as to work it needs to reach the glass and with the silicone layer covering this, it cant work. To remove this layer of silicone, you will need to purchase a pre-cleaner. This product has a slight abrasive in it and will scrub off that silicone layer. A blob of paste on to each lenses on the inside only, give it a good scrub and rinse off with fresh water. Repeat this process 3 times to ensure you have scrubbed off all of the silicone layer, then you can anti-fog. The glass will not get scratched as it is tempered. You can purchase a good quality anti-fog here at Dive Warehouse, or you can spit or lick the inside of the lens as spit is a natural anti-fog! After you have cleaned your mask and are no longer fogging, you will need to wash your gear after every use to prevent it from perishing. The best way to clean your mask and snorkel is to put them in a tub of fresh warm water and give them a good rinse. this will take off all of the salt and sand that you get from the ocean. Store them away in a dark dry place to prevent the silicone from turning an off color. The sun will do this if you store them in direct sunlight.

The Oceanic Viper Full Foot Fin is perfect for long snorkeling sessions where you do not want it to be too harsh on your legs, yet still give you plenty of power. It can in fact be used for scuba diving also in still water areas. The extremely flexible thrust channel collects and directs water off the tip of the blade to create power and efficiency when snorkeling. This Viper has an over sized blade which allows more water to be collected and pushed off giving more propulsion. Even though this fin is a power fin, it is extremely light weight which is great for traveling. Any level snorkeler can use this fin, no matter if you are new to it or you have been snorkeling for years. A snorkeling fin is a extremely important part of snorkeling gear, this is due to safety. Currents in the water can run fast, and if you stick in one, it can be extremely hard to get out if you are not wearing fins. A fin is designed to help you swim through the water with easy and allow you to get out of any currents if you happen to get stuck in to one. For a mesh snorkel bag to keep all of your gear together, check out the Tusa mesh bag.

For extra warmth, comfort and protection from blisters and chaffing, why not grab yourself a pair of neoprene socks that can be worn within these fins.
