Oceanic Veo 2.0 Dive Computer Product Description

The Oceanic Veo 2.0 Dive Computer is a fantastic choice when looking for new gear. Very simple to use, yet will give you everything that you need as a diver so whether you are a beginner or an advanced diver, this computer will be great. With 4 different modes including Air, Nitrox and gauge its does not matter which you are doing the Veo 2.0 will work. It is nitrox compatible from 21% to 50%  so if you are wanting to switch between different diving, you can without any hassles. The two button style is easy to navigate through with the help of a back light showing off the large easy to read digits in low light of night diving. The shock resistant case will keep it safe and the 3 different types of the Veo 2.0 will give you a choice.

Holding 24 dives in its memory, you can look back at any one to see them, you can also purchase a download cable to transfer your dive information on to your P.C. Giving you your depths, temperatures, safety stops, decompression times and much more, this computer is a fantastic buy. A few of the features include Depths, temperatures, safety stop with a count down timer, Dual Algorithm and bottom times. The battery can be changed by the user howere it is recommended that it is done by a service tech which means it will be pressure tested as well as have the battery changed with a new o-ring.

The Oceanic Veo 2.0 can be purchased in 3 different forms, depending on what type of diver you are or what you want out of a computer. There is the Veo 2.0 Swivel Navcon which comes with a compass on top, computer and air guage module. The Veo 2.0 Swivel combo, which is the air module and computer. Thirdly is the wrist watch, this is the computer by itself, which means you will have to purchase a air guage module separately as the watch will not give you a air reading. The Air gauge is shown in Bar from 0 bar to 400 bar. This is colour coded to help you see where you are at with the air consumption with a quick glance. From 400 bar to 100 bar it is shown in green whchis safe, 100 bar to 50 bar is shown in yellow and this is where you want to get ready and begin your accent. Finally below 50 bar is in red and no diver should be underwater on this.

Why not grab the USB Cable to transfer your diving data from your computer to your PC, saves time and effort writing in down in a log book.

The Oceanic OceanLog USB is designed to connect to the Oceanic VEO 2.0 watch to transfer data from the dive computers to your Lap top or PC. The OceanLog USB connects to the computers using a clip that sits over the metal attachment points to be able to tranfer the data. The clip then has a cable to a USB that can be plugged in to your chosen computer and once connected it will send your diving log over. Most divers like to keep their diving data for reference and writing it down can be time consuming so having a transfer cable takes all the time and effort out of it. Before you can transfer the data across, you will need to download the appropiate software depending on if you are using a PC or MAC. You can fins both of these on Oceanicaus website.

Majority of dive sights will now only allow you to dive them if you are using a computer rather than a guage. This is due to the fact that the tables are extremely conservative, so if you were diving on a guage using your tables, you would generally have to surface a fair amount of time earlier than other divers who are using computers. Because of this, company's like everyone to be on the same level and surface all together.
