Oceanic OCL Dive Watch Product Description

The Oceanic OCL Dive Watch is a low profile and stylish compute that can be worn as an everyday watch due its good looks. It is powered by Oceanic Dual algorithm which allows you to change the conservative factor setting depending on the type of diving you are doing without compromising your safety. The OCL is made with stainless steel and comes in a stylish black of white. You can choose from 4 dive modes including Air, Nitrox, Gauge, Freediving and then choose watch when you are not in the water and are just wearing it as an everyday watch. You are able to set custom alarms for times and depths and can adjust the safety stop. The Oceanic OCL holds up to 24 dives, however you can purchase a USB cable to transfer all of your dives over to your computer if you do not want to be writing every dive in your log book. The back light helps on those cloudy days and night dives which is a huge plus. Having diver replaceable batteries means that you can save costs on servicing fees by doing it yourself which is super easy to change.

Care Instructions

  • Make sure you give it a good rinse in fresh water after every use
  • Take care when changing the battery to keep water out and dust out
  • Do not use chemicals to clean
  • Do not leave in the direct sunlight
  • Store in a safe place

Majority of dive sights will now only allow you to dive them if you are using a computer rather than a guage. This is due to the fact that the tables are extremely conservative, so if you were diving on a guage using your tables, you would generally have to surface a fair amount of time earlier than other divers who are using computers. Because of this, company's like everyone to be on the same level and surface all together.

Can I add a Air transmitter to this computer?

 - The Oceanic OCL computer does not have the capabilities of connecting to a transmitter.

How long does the battery last?

 - The Oceanic OCL will approximately last for 200-300 dives over a 3 year span. However depending on if you are wearing it as a every day watch it will not last as long.

How do I change my battery?

 - With the Oceanic OCL computer, you can change the battery yourself, however it is reccommemded that you have a servicing centre do it as they will pressure test the watch when the battery is changed.

 - The Oceanic computer warranty is 5 year on manufacturing faulty. If you need to make a claim, the product will need to be assessed by Oceanic before a decison is made.
