Mares Quad Air Computer
The Mares Quad Air Computer is a user-friendly and reliable scuba dive computer that offers excellent autonomy and simplicity of use. With its clear display and giant data viewer, divers can instantly and effortlessly read the displayed information at a glance.
The user interface of the Quad Air is divided into three segments, dedicated to depth, time and decompression, and cylinder pressure. This layout ensures that the most critical information is prominently displayed, with larger numbers for key parameters, while secondary parameters are presented in a way that conserves screen space.
One of the notable strengths of the Quad Air is its low battery consumption, and it can be easily replaced with standard commercial batteries. With a single battery, the Quad Air can support up to 150 dives, providing long-lasting performance. The computer also allows for the integration of tank data for up to three transmitters (sold separately), providing real-time cylinder pressure information.
During a dive, the four buttons on the Quad Air are mirrored, regardless of which arm it is worn on, ensuring easy operation and accessibility. The "Runaway Deco Alarm" alerts the diver when staying at the current depth will result in a significant increase in mandatory decompression stops. The "Deco Dive Planner" adapts the surface interval input to suit the diver's needs.
The Quad Air offers customization options, including the multi-blend function, which allows divers to switch between three different probes and gas mixtures in a single dive, without needing to consult a separate gauge.
To download the Quad Air logbook and take advantage of future upgrades and extensions, Mares has introduced the Bluelink Pro. This system utilises low-energy Bluetooth technology and a dedicated app to enable divers to access and manage their dive information on their PC's or other compatible devices.
