The Aqua Lung Legend MBS Regulator is one of the top sellers within the Aqualung range, it has been around for many years with small upgrades and designs along the way, the MBS is the third generation. It is so advanced and innovative in design that divers simply rave about it. The Legend MBS ensures the highest of breathing comfort at any depth in cold and warm water which makes your diving so much more enjoyable.

 

The first stage is an auto-balanced diaphragm also know as over balanced. This type of diaphragm allows more air out of the 1st stage at any depth to give you better breathing performance no matter the depth. This will also perform just as efficiently even when your tank is low, just before empty. A fantastic feature of the MBS is the auto closure device which only opens when on a tank. When it is taken off a tank, it closes tighly to prevent any water or dust to enter the 1st stage. Putting your dust cap back on as soon as it comes off the tank is extremely important, however Aqua Lung has created a feature as a fail safe. The MBS is nitrox ready straight out of the box. 

 

The 2nd stage Legend is a good looking reg! Its oversized purge button is easy to use even when weraing thick gloves. It has an enlarged heat exchanger which helps to prevent it from freezing over when in icy cold water. There is an air channel deflector that directs the flow is air evenly on each inhalation to give a smooth and effortless breathe every time. The Legend MBS has a comfy bite mouthpice that comes standard on the reg as well as a spare standard mouthpiece in the box. The mouthpice is easy to change as it is easily detached via a reusable clamp which prevents the use of plastic zip ties that are simple waste products. 

 

Connecting the 1st stage to the 2nd stage is a braided lightweight and flexible hose with dual protectors. These hoses are 3 times stronger and more durable than the standard rubber hoses.

 - The Aqualung regulator warranty is 1 year on manufacturing faulty. If you need to make a claim, the product will need to be assessed by Aqualung before a decison is made.
