Oceanic EOS FDX10 and Hera Package

The Oceanic EOS FDX10 and Hera Package is a fantastic package to purchase when looking at you first scuba diving equipment. There is nothing worse than having to hire old used gear, so getting your very own equipment makes such a difference with your diving. This particular pack consists on the Oceanic Probe BCD, the EOS FDX10 regulator, the Alpha 9 octopus and the Veo 1.0 Navcon dive computer.

The Oceanic Hera BCD is a female specific design that is shaped for the female body. The shoulder straps are not so bulky and the side pockets sit slightly lower. It is an extremely comfortable fit and has that female look to it with a splash of color. Having adjustments in all areas including the shoulder straps, chest strap and cummerbund, this BCD will fit all shapes. Available in sizes XS - Large. The Oceanic Probe BCD is a Male specific design that is suited for the male body. They both have all metal D-rings which is fantastic for those divers who like to clip bits and pieces on to their BCD.  Equipped with inter grated weight pockets and small non dump able pockets in the rear which are positioned in the lower part for better upright body efficiency at the surface. Getting rid of that horrible old webbing weight belt makes a huge difference with comfort as you no longer have to tighten it as you go down or have to worry about it spinning. With the inter grated weight pockets there is a layer of padding between you and the lead. Oceanic BCD's have extra large pockets that can hold all of you scuba accessories e.g torch, safety sausage and more. With a dump valve on the front and rear of the BCD it is easily accessible.

Every breath with the Oceanic EOS FDX10 Regulator is a dream come true. This new design includes effortless breathing, inhalation adjustment and much more than any other reg. The first stage is where it all starts, the FDX10 is equipped with "DVT" Dry Valve Technology which is Oceanic's exclusive design. The DVT eliminates the possibility of moisture from entering the first stage when not on a tank. I'm sure we have all done it, you take you regs off the tank and go to wash it and all of a sudden you realize you forgot to put the dust cap back on and now you have water in the first stage. Well the DVT will prevent this and will save you a trip to the servicing guys! Second of all the first stage is a molded one which means that inside, it is completely smooth which will allow air to flow smoother and quicker through it. This will make breathe easier as the air is coming to you more naturally rather than having to suck for the air. The second stage which is the EOS is a stylish look piece. Being nitrox compatible, it is suitable for nitrox breathing gas mixtures containing 40% oxygen. Whether you are doing it now or are thin king of it for down the track, getting a regulator that is compatible is definitely the way to go. A great feature is the Dynamic Adjustment with a balanced valve which will maintain your breathing throughout the dive, no matter if you are at 5 meters or 30 meters, this regulator will automatically adjust to make breathing as ease as. It does come with an adjustment knob so you can manually set it before your dive. Also coming with an adjustable Venturi system which allows you to divert the airflow from the valve directly to your mouthpiece to produce a smoother inhalation you cant go wrong when purchasing the EOS FDX10. This small piece of gear is your life source and is what you need to rely on, Oceanic pride them selves in creating amazing quality equipment that you can trust, the EOS is no exception.

The Oceanic Alpha 9 Octopus is an entry level price pointed occy that is a class A standard regulator. It is super inexpensive to maintain and a popular pick when looking are Oceanic gear. It is incredible light weight and flexible which makes it comfortable to use as it does not put pressure on your neck. Having a braided hose means that it is 3 times strong than the traditional rubber hose as last 3 times longer, saving you money in the long run. Being a octopus it is bright yellow so it is easily visible to yourself and your buddy. When scuba diving a occy or spare air is something that you have to have. This could one day potentially save you life or your buddy's if something was to go wrong with your first regulator. Oceanic is known for their fantastic quality so don't pass this one by.

The Oceanic Veo 1.0 Dive Computer is a popular pick when starting out, It is extremely simple to use and will tell you everything you need to know when diving. Giving your depths, temperatures, safety stops and much more without over confusing you. As soon as it hits water it will automatically turn on and do its thing. With only a single button it is easy to scroll through when needed. The Veo 1.0 can be used on air or a single gas nitrox mix of up to 50% oxygen. The digits are large and easy to read which makes life easier if you struggle with small numbers. You will be able to save 12 dives in its memory to look back on to log in a log book if needed. A great feature of the Oceanic Veo 1.0 computer is the fact that it has user replaceable batteries, so instead of having to send it off for a service, you can save that money and do it at home your self. A compass is an important piece of equipment to have as underwater can get quite confusing as it looks similar i many spots and loosing your bearings can be easy to do. A compass will help you in times of confusion.

Why not grab the USB Cable to transfer your diving data from your computer to your PC, saves time and effort writing in down in a log book.

Majority of dive sights will now only allow you to dive them if you are using a computer rather than a guage. This is due to the fact that the tables are extremely conservative, so if you were diving on a guage using your tables, you would generally have to surface a fair amount of time earlier than other divers who are using computers. Because of this, company's like everyone to be on the same level and surface all together.
