Mares Surface Marker Buoy
The Mares Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) is an essential signalling device for divers, ensuring their presence is visible both underwater and on the surface. With its bright orange colour, the SMB stands out even from a distance, providing excellent visibility.
Designed for convenience, the SMB can be easily folded and stored in the included durable bag with a hook. It can be slipped into a pocket of a buoyancy aid or securely attached to diving equipment using the hook. The 20-meter cable and various hooks allow for effortless use underwater and on the surface.
To maintain proper buoyancy, the SMB features integrated lead weights in its base. These weights ensure the buoy stays upright and visible at the surface while also being foldable for easy inflation.
