Mares Cyrano Line Slide Ring
The Mares Cyrano Line Slide Ring is a small stainless steel ring that the spear sits through to prevent the slide anchor from coming off. When a speargun is fired, the spear shoots through the water and stops when the length on mono is at its maximum length. If there was no shooting line then you would constantly be loosing spears or if the line was not secured to the spear. On the Mares pneumatic spearguns, to connect the line to the spear you need a line slide cord anchor and then a ling slide ring which holds the anchor on the spear.
